Division Order – Lead Analyst – OKC or Austin TX FLSA Classification: Salaried Supervisor: Land Administration Manager Status: Fulltime
Summary:
The Division Order - Lead Analyst performs and oversees communicating with Working Interest Partners and Royalty Owners, the review of documents, and our goal is to respond to all inquiries in a timely, efficient manner. This person is expected to give support to owners and is someone who can answer inquiries quickly and accurately. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work in the Land Department performing various administrative and land tasks related to day-to-day as well as acquisition based. The individual will work closely with other Land Department staff, Accounting Department as well as Technical staff to ensure that the Company's responsibilities to working interest and royalty owners are met. The Division Order – Lead Analyst is responsible for maintaining the Company's ownership records in an organized manner, maintaining owner's ownership information (working interest, royalty interest, override interest) in our systems and working with the Accounting Department to create new ownership decks and process ownership changes. The individual will need excellent communication skills to interact with Royalty and Working Interest Owners. Maintain positive relationship with owners and Working Interest Partners. Assist with inputting relevant ownership information into OGSys. Support Land staff with day-to-day duties as well as responsibilities created during acquisitions.
Key Competencies and Qualifications: Detail-oriented and organized with strong verbal/written communications skills. Proficient with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work in a team environment. Flexible: We are fast paced, so we need someone who is amenable to change. Utilize patience and good communication skills to ascertain the root causes of issues as they arise, obtain needed information and/or documents to resolve issues, and provide accurate resolution feedback. Excellent time management and organizational skills to foster teamwork in a dynamic fast paced environment. Practical and pragmatic approach to problem solving; hands on worker. 2-5 years relevant experience. Physical Requirements: (with or without reasonable accommodation)
• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator

Job Summary
• Process new leases, contracts and curative documents
• Assist with recordings, filings and transmittals
• Process check requests for leases, assignments and agreements
• Provide support for the preparation of land reports
• Data entry and land map updates
• Additional duties related to general land work
Accountability
The Land Tech collaborates with all members of the land team and works under the direct supervision of a Senior Landman and/or the Vice President of Land.
Qualifications
• Minimum three years of oil and gas land experience or paralegal work
• Proficiency in ArcGIS and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of P2 iLandman or comparable land software, and a proven record of learning and utilizing new software
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively work within a multi-disciplinary team
• Efficient time management and organizational skills
• Self-starter able to concurrently handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
• Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills
Education
• High school diploma or GED required
• Two-year degree preferred
• Work history and experience will be considered
