SEPTEMBER SECRETARY'S LETTER
Happy Fall, OCAPL members! I am certainly looking forward to the cooler weather and all of the exciting activities that we have planned. I know many of you are cheering on your favorite football team—and for the rest, there's always next year! September was a busy month for us. Our educational luncheon on "Probate Solutions Every Landman Should Know" was very informative—if you missed it, be sure to check out the slides in our website's document library. The happy hour at Skydance Brewing was a great success, and the Weekend Take Off never disappoints, with plenty of insightful topics and, of course, the tremendous food and camaraderie.
I am really excited about our October lineup. We will be having our inaugural Pickleball Tournament on October 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Greens Country Club—you'll need to bring your A-game if you're challenging our OCAPL president! Clarke is looking for a worthy opponent. If you are not up for a challenge, please come out to watch. It will be a great time. Don’t forget to sign up for one of the year's highlights: our family-friendly Fall Festival and Fun Run at the Wheeler District on October 26 at 12:30 p.m.
I'm so grateful for our dedicated members who make OCAPL such a wonderful organization, and for the tireless efforts of our committee volunteers in organizing these incredible events. If you know any fellow Landmen who aren't yet members, please invite them to join and attend one of our upcoming gatherings.
See you soon!
Respectfully, Grant Raney, CPL OCAPL Secretary
