PRESIDENT'S LETTER
As my term as President comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect with genuine gratitude on the year we’ve shared together. It has been such a privilege to serve an organization rooted in professionalism, generosity, and a true sense of community. Over the past year, we’ve grown closer and stronger through meaningful events, continued education, and our shared commitment to serving others.
One of the most impactful accomplishments of this year has been the extraordinary generosity of our membership. Together, we were able to donate more than $84,000 to numerous charities and causes that make a meaningful difference in our community and beyond. These contributions represent far more than a dollar amount, they reflect our shared commitment to service and giving back. Whether through fundraising events, sponsorships, volunteer efforts, or quiet acts of support, our members consistently showed up with open hearts and a willingness to help others succeed. I am incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
This role has been both humbling and rewarding, and I am sincerely thankful for the trust you placed in me and for the dedicated volunteers, board members, and members who made this year such a success.
As we look ahead, I am confident in the future of OCAPL and the leadership guiding us forward. During my time on the board, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside many talented leaders, including our incoming President, Dianna. She consistently demonstrates vision, collaboration, and a deep commitment to our mission. As OCAPL continues to grow and evolve, her leadership will serve our organization well.
If you’ve ever considered becoming more involved, I encourage you to reach out to Dianna about joining a committee and be sure to attend the great events planned for 2026!
Thank you again for allowing me the honor of serving as your President. I wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a joyful holiday season.
Clarke Richards
2025 OCAPL President
