Dear IPAA Members and Colleagues:
As we begin the IPAA Midyear Meeting in Colorado Springs, we continue to confront legislative and executive branch challenges. Tuesday, we had a victory when the Senate rejected an amendment by Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) that would have repealed three oil and natural gas tax provisions. We are also seeing some movement recognizing that potential adverse consequences of the Administration's offshore moratoria.
